‘A Journey’s End’

Hello Good People

Well, he also suffers who only stands and waits. No news from the publishers re ‘PROM’. I’m also still in the revision stage prior to taking the test on the Module 2 part of the online course on writing for children. Bleedin’ ‘ell!

Therefore, whilst being in this strange state of stasis, I am preparing what will, in all probability, be my last collection of short stories for Kindle. All things being equal, it will go on in late November/early December of this year.

That’s it. Byeeeeeeee.

It’s Alive!!

Hello Good People

Well, ‘PROMETHEUS ASCENDING’ is still alive …. and residing in the publishing house, with no sign of pending eviction – yet!

Had a good, comprehensive catch-up call with Smiley last night. We’ve taken ‘PROM’ off Kindle until we know the outcome with the publishers. Then, if they don’t want to know, a slightly revised copy (and cover) will go back on. We also hope to have the two ‘SHADOW’ novellas on by the end of this month. Smiley is also arranging for a disembodied eyeball! That’s to say, an illustration of. It will be the cover for the planned final collection of ‘The BoCheK Tales’, to go on at the end of this year. So, one way or the other, it’s all go; as long as it’s not out of the window!

That’s it. I’ll keep you posted.

Cheers,

PT

It Goes On …. and on … and on!!

Hello Good People

I spent three days of the Easter break reading ‘PROMETHEUS ASCENDING’. I did it in the right way ….. as in simply reading a book for pleasure, which meant I took my time. Mind you, I made some more corrections as I made my way through it.

I’ll be speaking with Smiley this coming Sunday. Also, ‘PROM’ is still hanging in there at the publishers. Keep watching this space.

That’s it. Hope you enjoyed Easter.

Cheers,

PT

IT AIN’T OVER ‘TIL IT’S OVER!

Hello Good People

An update for you all.

PROMETHEUS ASCENDING’ is still alive and hanging in there with the publishing house.

Had a scare on the medical front. A “false” reading on my Sodium’ count (to do with the kidneys). Actually, I was – and am – fine. However, don’t have as much freedom of breathing as I used to. The heart (a “murmur” I’ve had since birth), but the old pacemaker is doing the biz.

I’ll be speaking to Smiley in a week or so (she’s enjoying an Easter break), and I hope to have my two ‘Shadow’ novellas on Kindle before this new month is out. Good game, good game.

That’s it, really. Have a great Easter, don’t eat too much choccies and leave the fluffy little bunnies alone!!
