A Change is as Good As a Rest
Hello Good People
Well, things move on. On Sunday, two dear friends of mine, Huw and Maria, took me for a curry by way of celebrations of my book. The delight was tempered only inasmuch as we found ourselves in a traffic jam, both going and coming back – at 7pm and after 10pm respectively. Mind you, the company was great and Huw has a big, beautiful …… BMW! Niiiceee J.
On the book front, the ‘Schlock’ sci-fi magazines publisher are going to review ‘PROM’. So, in time I will either be swinging from my ceiling light – by the neck – or doing a jig down the road. If the review is not all that I would wish, I’ll just remember the wise words of Oscar Wilde: ‘Write what you like about me, just spell my name right.’ I paraphrase, of course.
On the writing front, a weird happening. I was watching a BBCtv programme on Einstein last night. As I did so, I was also thinking on two short, interlinking stories I’d written; ‘NORMAN’ and ‘TRANSMOGRIFICATION’. I wasn’t too happy with the latter title; too clumsy. So, I thought on. As a result, the two stories will become one, in two parts. The second part being ‘MORPHEA’. Like they say, a change is as good as a rest.
That’s it for now. I’ll keep you posted.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR
